Wine Appreciation Course

Jim's wine appreciation seminar is designed to help both beginners and advance students learn more about wine.  In the seminar you will discover the history of wines, the grape varieties used, and the effects micro climates have on the finished wine.  In addition, you will experience the changes that wines undergo when enjoyed with food.

The courses are held at Macaroni Grill in South Arlington and Macaroni Grill in Grapevine.  Each week a different class of wine is tasted along with complementary entree' selections generously provided by the restaurant. The course consists of 4 sessions held on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.  The fee for the course is $160.00. To enroll, please contact UT Arlington's Continuing Education Department at www.uta.edu/ced or at (817) 272-2581.
